Pilsen has been home to Jewish popularion since 1300s, therefore there has been five synagogues in town at some point. Great Synagogue is one of two remaining in the city. It’s the biggest one as well, ranking second largest in Europe after Budapest. Loved the interior decorated in Moorish-style. It definitely is worth visiting #pilsen #czechia #czechrepublic #history
