The Writers' Museum
Aptly located in a hidden courtyard of the Royal Mile, the Edinburgh Writers’ Museum pays tribute to the city’s most important literary figures: including, of course, JK Rowling. The museum once contained a rare, first-edition copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, with anecdotes and illustrations from the author herself, although this particular exhibition has since ended. There are always a number of different exhibitions on display, and entry is free of charge. #edinburgh #harrypotter #scotland
