The Pork Chop Bun is a Macanese speciality and perhaps the most famous food from the city. This great innovation is a clash between the Western and Chinese cultures. A pork chop is marinated with Chinese sauces and stuffed into a crisp yet soft Portuguese bread roll. The bun is fried into a golden brown colour while the pork chop still retains all its juices.
