A lot of the restaurants in the Baja are tucked away and are hidden secrets, like Cuquita in La Paz. This beach side family run place has an endless menu of INSANELY delicious homemade foods. I ate here twice during my visit and long to return. My favorite meal was the Venecruze style red snapper. This entire whole fish is stewed in tomatoes, peppers, onions, and green olives and runs about $10 USD!!! The white fish was delicate and full of flavor. The mix of the tomatoes, peppers and olives danced around in my mouth. In awe of how great the food is in the Baja, I raised my snifter of reposado tequila toasting momma in the kitchen for cooking such a wonderful meal. Then sunk into my chair watching the sun set vibrant colors into the dark ocean. Could life get any better??? #beachfront #seafood #baja
