Dianchi lake is a huge lake on Kunming’s west side. There are pleasant board walks to walk along and people watch and look at the mountains across the way. Or feed the seagulls that come in the summer. The Yunnan Nationalities Village is locates near here where apparently there are a lot of performances from different ethnic minorities around Yunnan. Also take the cable car and go across the lake to the Western Hills where you can hike to different grottoes and caves. There’s plenty to do around this lake. #hiking #mountains
