Zaisan hill
After climbing some (all right, A LOT... 612) stairs, you'll reach the top of Zaisan Hill. This huge memorial is dedicated to the Mongolian and soviet soldiers who died while fighting during World War 2. The large murals depict scenes of friendship between Mongolian and USSR soldiers, during various battles. There is also a tank monument at the bottom of the hill. But more than just a commemorative monument, your efforts will be rewarded by simply the best view point of the city. From there, you'll get a panoramic view of all UB, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful colors of the Tull river. It's a common meeting point for lovers and local families during week ends. #viewpoint #photography #ulanbator #mongolia
