This memorial was created in 1954 to honour those who were killed in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). Around the base of the monument are scenes showing: 1. 9 May 1945 victory day; 2. Partisans of Belarus; 3. Glory to the fallen heroes and 4: Soviet Army during the years of the Great Patriotic War.
