Taktsang Monastery is also know as the Tiger nest, clinging to a cliff at 3100m above sea level. Legend states that Guru Rimpoche meditated for 3 years, 3 months , 3 days and 3 hours at a cave in the 7th century AD in order to subdue evil demons.
