Perhaps the most recognizable image of West Virginia, the New River Gorge Bridge connects rural to cosmopolitan with a 1,700ft. Steel arch and 876ft. between vehicles and the New River, making it the third highest in the United States. If driving this isn't thrilling enough for you, there's a two foot wide steel catwalk that hangs underneath the length of the bridge!
