The Zapata Peninsula national park is located in the more remote area in the south of Cuba. It is one of the largests wetland areas in the Caribbean and it is a paradise for bird lovers since the park is home to more than 150 different species. You can spot everything from tiny hummingbirds, to parrots, to bandicoots to great pink flamingos chilling in the lakes.
