Indian Creek trail network has a lot of smooth and flowy single track with plenty of climbing and great views of the neighboring mountains. Just past chatfield reservoir, it’s only a small drive outside of metro Denver. Try Ringtail trail out and back with the whole Indian Creek loop in the middle - you’ll get 5,000 feet vertical and an epic ride.
