You can't visit Panama City and not see the Panama Canal. Go to the Miraflores Locks Visitors Center. It's $15 for foreigners. Make sure you are visiting when you can see ships heading through the locks-- either early morning (before 9:00) or afternoon (around 2:00). Head to the 4th floor viewing platform for the best views.
