This one’s a classic. Alexandria is a coastal city about two and a half hours from Cairo, the capital. It has the best of both worlds; the city “vibes”, stores and people as well as the beach to soothe your worries in the afternoon. The San Stefano beach is near the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel and the historic Alexandria “Corniche” or waterfront promenade. The San Stefano area is actually known for a landmark casino hotel that had been demolished in the late 1990s. #beach #swimming #views
