Sognefjorden
The water is as deep as the mountains are high. Sailing through the majestic Sognefjorden is one of those rare excellent times when you are traveling That you feel completely insignificant. Being on a small (or large) ship in the biggest fjord of Norway, with those great towering masses of land on either side, following the path made millions of years ago by some huge glacier. You get a sense that nothing else really matters much at all.
Check out the cute little settlement of Flüm at the end of the fjord, with its old traditional pubs and little hillside houses. Take the train to catch a fantastic view of the surrounding area or hike to a nearby waterfall. Sognefjorden is a nature lover's dream. #outdoors #nature #fjords #amazing #sailing #mustsee #hiking
