If you stroll around the busy narrow streets of Grenoble city center, take a look at this special spot. Hidden in a corner rue Lafayette, you'll see a wall made of stones, that's one of the remains of the city's Gallo-Roman surrounding wall. It is part of a private property so you can only see it from outside, but it is really amazing to see a wall from the 4th century still standing in the middle of all those modern shops. #grenoble #france #ruins #gallo-roman
