This magnificient mosque located in the business district of Astana is an architectural jewel. It's the second biggest mosque is all Central Asia. Built in only 3 years (2009-2012) it's really impressive from outisde and from inside. Located next to the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, it can fit more than 5000 people. It has the biggest dome of the country and the minarets are 77 meters high. For women, you have to borrow some kind of large coat at the entrance and then take the elevator to the 3rd floor. #architecture #mosque #religious #astana #kazakhstan
