Pulau Jerejak
Pualu Jerejak is a small island very close to Penang has a very controversial past. During the British colonial period, it was home to tuberculosis and leprosy stricken people, a resting ground for navy solders lost in Indian Sea, a jail (in more recent years), and a quarantine site. Today, there’s a resort and a spa, but lacks tourist. It’s an ideal place who loves exploring nature. If you are brave and curious minded, go for it.
