Manuel Moy's experience in Bermejo
stay
Bermejo
Get away in the bush for a day tour in Bermejo at Vicente’s camping. If you want a jungle like experience without getting deep down in the amazonia, you can find a piece of paradise just one hour away from Samaipata. Bermejo actually is just a truck/bus stop from Santa Cruz to any town on the west side of Bolivia, but besides the two lonely restaurants, the towns hides a magnificent river that will fill your imagination. You can swim and slide down the natural waterfalls without seing a single tourist. Before coming back to Samaipata, take a night at Vicente’s camping (send him a whatssap +591 74609281) and have the real heart of the country experience. There’s no electricity and the meals are cooked with the bunfire, but you definitely will have the best reception from the owner. Go visit his coffee plantation and eat some of the avocado and papaya that grows on the campsite.
