For a lunch and conscious stop, PLEASE go to Los Deseos de La Virgen. This restaurant/active feminist center needs recognition and encouragement. Started by the anarchist femenist group 《mujer creando》, the building is filled with art and graffitis revindicating women's right. With more than 15 years of activism history, the group of woman agitators, as they call themselves, is a reference in latinamerica femenism  and anti patriarcals fights. One of the achievement of the groups is Los Deseos de La Virgen, which at the same time than being a restaurant, is also a meeting place for social movements, a safe space for woman being victims of conjugal violence, a guesthouse for travelers who would like to help out the project and lots more. There is a cinema, a library, internet access, free medical help for woman in need...so much good initiatives, if you have to encourage one spot, that would be the one. The building is situated between Sopocachi and the city center, really easy to get to when you're walking from one neighborhood to the other.
