Another small but excellent #houston #history #museum , this one dedicated to the memories of the victims of the #Nazi #holocaust #ghettos and camps. Exhibits, library, rail car (much smaller than I'd expected) and an extensive education and lecture program, with a strong anti-hatred focus. The museum will be moving temporarily while the office and library wing (at left in photo) is expanded and renovated. Interim location is 9220 Kirby Dr., Suite 100. The temporary location will open in September, and the main campus reopening date will be announced later. A very powerful experience. Be aware of the subject matter with small children... It's not explicit but it is honest and emotional, and you'll likely get uncomfortable questions. The Museum staff and docents are excellent and can help with these things. Close to several other excellent museums - it's called the #museumdistrict for a reason..
