Coral Reef Underwater Park Trail
Great #snorkeling spot for beginners, Trunk Bay offers a protected cove with few waves. Part of the Virgin Islands National Park Service, this particular nook offers an underwater trail leading about 300 feet (91 meters) out and back. Follow the signs and read about the marine life that frequents the bay while you float along the surface as a "one-horned buttfish" (a fun local term for snorkelers).
When you're done exploring, enjoy the stretch of soft beach for some #swimming or R&R. But beware, it can get touristy in the high season as it is a cruise ship hotspot for excursions. #nationalpark
