Viereck Nature Trail is Part of the University of Alaska Fairbanks trail system which all connect so you can walk as far or short as you like. If you take Viereck Nature Trail start at the lookout point for an awesome viewpoint and take it down to Smith Lake to checkout the lake and wildlife. This trail is a bit wet so be sure to wear waterproof boots and bring bug spray as you are sure to encounter some mosquitos big enough to carry away a small child. #hike #trail #view
