Lower Sabie Rest Camp is located on the eastern side of Kruger National Park and is located on one of the few perennial rivers found within the park. Due to this and the Lebombo Mountains that can be seen in the distance, it offers one of the most picturesque settings of all Kruger's rest camps. Sunset Dam is located just outside the gates of Lower Sabie and provides the perfect place to stop for a sundowner before heading back to camp before the gates close. Here you will see a wide variety of bird species as well as humongous hippos and crocodiles. Leopards and lions have also been spotted coming down to this dam for a sunset drink! #sunset #waterhole #nature
