Can it actually be? Have all my dreams come true? The Blacksmith and the Toffeemaker is a real live London vegan pub offering up hearty eats (the “Mac and cheese” is divine and the General Tso’s tofu, absolutely marvelous) and a small but tasty list of beers and other standard libations. The staff is friendly and it’s bustling with locals but doesn’t get eat-splitting loud, you can still carry on an actual conversation. Oh, be still my quivering heart..
