A paragliding area with picturesque view of the valley filled by terraces of paddy (rice) fields, often goldish in color during harvest season at the end of every year. Getting here is by land transport from Hanoi, about 5 hours drive via the interstate highway and winding mountain valleys passing through villages along the way that offers plenty of photography stops. Accommodation is basic and quite aplenty to be found nearby, as the popular Sa Pa tourist destination is just around the (mountain) corners.
