The only thing I felt was somewhat disappointing about Portugal was the lack of a really strong art tradition like that you find in many other European nations. The main exception though is the exquisite decorative art of the azulejo. This statuesque edifice houses an impeccable collection showcasing the marvelous artistry of Iberian tile work. If you only get to one museum in Lisbon, make it this one.
