Le Morne
Backdropped by the beautiful Le Morne Brabant mountain, the Le Morne peninsula is actually home to a number of different beaches. A public beach is a great spot for snorkelling and catching a tan, while a small bay on the other side of the peninsula is favoured by water sports enthusiasts, such as windsurfers, kitesurfers and stand up paddlers. Another beach at the point of the peninsula is the launching pad for extreme wave surfers who venture out to the reef for some of the best waves in the world. The reef system here also forms a unique natural illusion, referred to as the underwater waterfall. This is best viewed by climbing the mountain or taking a plane trip over the peninsula. #Mauritius #penisula #naturalbeauty
