The National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the youngest (it has been opened in 2014) and the largest museum in Central Asia. It is located on the main square (Independance square) next to the Kazakh Eli Monument and in front of the Palace of Peace of Reconciliation. This gigantic complex displays ethnographical, cultural, artistic, historical items in seven halls. It's a very modern museum using numerous multimedia supports (kazakh, russian and english available) and it's very interactive with LED screens, holograms, touch-sensitive kiosks.
