Gorky Park is a public park which also includes an amusement park filled with rides, including this 56m tall ferris wheel. The park is the oldest in Minsk, dating from 1800. During Soviet times it obtained the name Gorky Park after the Russian/Soviet writer Maksim Gorky. Many other parks across the Soviet countries also feature the same name.
