This cantina has only been open since the 1950s, relatively young by cantina standards. But the building has been around since the 1700s and was once a palace (Palacio del Marqués de Selva Nevada). When you enter, walk through the first large hall with tables to enter the cavernous main room; this is the largest cantina in Mexico City! Food here is less elaborate and more snacky, so eat beforehand and come to drink and enjoy the vibe.
