Aomori Nebuta Festival One of the Three Great Festivals in the Tohoku (Akita’s Kanto Matsuri and Sendai’s Tanabata) region held in August 2-7. Parades of gigantic lantern floats followed by taiko drums and dancing performance and visitors crowd the streets of Aomori every time!
