Noshi is my go-to everyday sushi. Cash only, no windows, blink as you drive by and you'll miss it. Inside it is always rammed from people in the know. Arguably the best spicy tuna in LA (not "here's what is about to expire mixed with something"). About 25 tables at the sushi bar so getting a seat if solo is not difficult despite the traffic. The scallop sashimi appetizer is great. Yellowtail roll is always good and overpacked with fish. Wasabi haters beware they lay it on the sushi thick so ask for it on the side. Free miso with meal. I usually get out of here gorged (including a couple of house sakes) for under $40. I have a crush on one of the sushi chefs. He's straight. That's a problem.
