If you don’t have the time to leave the city for a winter escapade, take at least of few hours to go ice skating in Parc Lafontaine, right in the middle of the city. This park is the place where people meet up during the summer for picniques, and in the winter to go ice skating in family and have a poutine at La Banquise afterwards (it’s just at the corner).
