Lobitos is a town that lies about 2 hours away from Piura, and about 1 hour south of Mancora beach. If you're coming from Lima, you can reach it by flying to Talara and then take a colectivo for 30min to Lobitos. Or you can fly into Piura and then take a minibus to Lobitos. The town itself is pretty quiet. Back in the day, it used to be a hotspot for oil drilling, so you'll still see some machinery left behind and some of it actually works. There are two surfing spots here: Lobitos, which is just before the town and Piscinas which s about 1.5km north of the town. The second one is much nicer but the conditions aren't as constant. #surfing #peru #beach
