The public park (Stadtgarten) in the middle of the campus is a great place to picnic and sunbathe, in fact during the summer you will see many people doing just that. You are likely to see people exercising and doing yoga too - so an all round wholesome place for families. Even though this park is open 24 hours it is a tad creepy at night.
