Aberdeen Promenade
Life began very early morning in Hong Kong in the 1900s. Boat homes that belonged to the 'Water People' populated the Aberdeen typhoon shelter bay before sunrise as they sold fresh catches by the shore. By early afternoon, villagers would gather around and on the boats for a fresh bowl of noodles topped with seafood and barbecue meat. Follow the footsteps of these villagers at Aberdeen Shelter Bay and slurp on some hot noodles while you try to balance on the small floating boats. Some boats here may even take you out for a ride around the area. #history #hongkong #boats #water #food #views #nodtalgia #aberdeenbay
