The Louvre is probably one of the most well known and popular museums in the world. The glass pyramid is the entrance to the building and is beautifully illuminated during the night. There is also a mirrored version of the pyramid inside the Louvre. This museum is known for a large number of important classic and modern pieces of art. It's probably most famous for having DaVinci's world famous Mona Lisa in their exhibition. It is always crowded, especially when the weather is unfit for outdoor activities, and waiting time of an hour + is normal.
