17 course meal at the Faroes "best" restaurant. Koks is to the Faroes as Noma is to Denmark. Foraged, traditional meals were on the menu with unique twists. Especially loved the horse mussels on cod cracker, halibut with wild herbs, the langoustine, and crab with caplin. It was comical at one point after having the crab dish a different server brought the same dish to us again and went through the full explanation. So technically we had 18 dishes! Overall dinner took a little over 3 hours at this beautiful house turned restaurant. Was a wonderful dining experience, especially with the 180 degree ocean views! #fine-dining #gastronomy
