Isla de Sacrificios is a small white sanded island located right by the port of Veracruz. You can spot the island from the Aquarium on the mainland and it would also be here that you would have to find one of the fishermen boats that will take you closer to the island. The water around Veracruz is not the most appealing. However, if you just get a bit outside of the harbor and out to the island you'll find the most crystal clear water that will allow you to spot all the amazing sea life below the boat. The water around the island is a protected area since it is a part of the national marine park so you would have to pay a small fee to enter this area. #snorkeling #sailing #swimming #photography #views
