Amber Palace, also known as Amber Fort, is believed to have been built as early as the 10th century. However, this magnificent fort and palace, as it stands today, was built in the late 16th century, undergoing improvements over the following 150 years. It is built mostly from pale yellow and pink sandstone and white marble, and is divided into four main sections, each with its own courtyard. The architecture is truly sensational. #history
