The Hartkaiser mountain station, Hopfgarten station and Gondola at Hochbrixen provide the starting points for some of the SkiWelt's best winter hiking experiences. These cable cars will take you to the top of the mountain where you can choose from a number of different routes from 1km to 5km, venturing through the forest or down into the valley. All the trails offer spectacular views over the snow covered mountains. You can also stop to enjoy some local cuisine at the numerous ski huts found along the way. As the area is quite low in elevation compared to some of the more well-known ski resorts in the Alps, hiking is easier here as you don't have to deal with extreme altitude. #hiking #winter #winteractivities
