Set atop a hill, high above the city, is Udine’s Castle. The pathway leading up to the castle is as elegant and impressive as the building itself, a winding, cobbled path shrouded in trees. Once you reach the castle esplanade, you are rewarded with 360-degree views across the entire city, with the hazy mountains framing the background.
