This cafe/bar sits right on the edge of Plateia Varnava, a square just a short walk behind the Panathenaic stadium. The plateia, or square, is always busy, filled with locals walking their dogs, parents watching their kids play, and groups of friends gathered around a table for a couple of beers. Cafe Varnava is a no-frills place, but that’s what’s great about it - it’s the perfect place to catch up with friends in a chill atmosphere.
