An alternative to noisy Trujillo is the fishing and surfing village Huanchaco. It is famous for its narrow pointed fishing rafts, known as caballitos de tortora, made of tortora reefs and depicted on the pottery of Mochica. Fisherman take you for 15 soles on a ride on the caballitos. #beach #culture
