This main park in the center of Chisinau was formerly known as Pushkin Park, making it the oldest one in the country. Stretched about 7 hectares, the park is known as ‘The Park of the Lovers’ among locals as it serves as a meeting point for couples. Originally laid out in 1818 by Russian military engineers, the park features beautiful alleys, hundreds of acacias, flower beds and limes.
