Dune 45 is a must-see when in Namibia. The desert landscape is to die for, especially when you see how dramatic the shadows hit the dunes right after sunrise or before sunset. Even though it doesn’t look too hard to climb, don’t be fooled— the hike up takes about 25-45 minutes and sometimes longer because of the sand.
