The Assumption Cathedral is one of the most beautiful sights in Omsk and one of the largest cathedral in Siberia. People say that in 1891, the Tsar Nicolaï himself came to Omsk to place the first stone of this church. Unfortunately, the original building has been destroyed in 1935 by the communist regime, but it has been entirely rebuilt according to the original design in 2007. You can visit inside as well, it's full of colors and gold, this cathedral is really breathtaking. There is also the relics of a bishop inside, for which people from all over the country come to worship.
