Close to Casco Viejo, is the American trade hotel, that has a restaurant open to anyone. Nice breakfast options, the menu is in Spanish, but the staff spoke English, so any questions you have about the menu can be answered. It was inexpensive and the place was super quiet and cute the interior design was really pretty the food and the pastries were delicious.
