Spoon
Once known as Nicholson’s Café, this quaint little coffee and lunch spot is known for its delicious cakes as well as for its intrinsic ties with Harry Potter. Long-ago owned by Rowling’s brother-in-law, the café was one of the lesser-known places that the author sought respite in as she was writing The Philosopher’s Stone. Today, it is known as Spoon Café, and offers a wide range of cooked breakfast and lunch options, as well as being a popular study hangout for students of the nearby university. #edinburgh #harrypotter #scotland
