Paralia Katerinis Port
Katerini is a small beach village in Paraliya. The small church square is quite nice. If you're here during a holiday or on the weekend, you've got a high chance of seeing a traditional orthodox Greek wedding. The village is totally touristic otherwise, with lots of souvenir and fur shops around (the latter targeted at the Russians specifically). If you'll buy stuff, I recommend the €1 olive oil soaps, the olive oil itself, and the olives - you get the idea. There are dozens of hotels around as well as restaurants and fast food spots that sell the traditional gyro for €2. The beach is clean and water tends to be warm all the way thru September. #katerini #greece #beach
